This wine is made from 55 year old vine Negroamaro (90%) and Syrah (10%) grapes, fermented in concrete and aged in used tonneaux for 8 months.The wine is deep red in colour, the nose of damsons and plums with a very gentle hint of warming cinnamon spice. 
This vintage is showing complexity on the palate, with red fruit and chocolate flavours, finishing with a hint of tobacco and warming spice.  Pair this with red meats and flavoursome cheeses.
