This 100% Roussanne was formerly branded as "No.35" and was a firm favorite of ours.
Originating from vines planted on high, south-facing terraces in the Languedoc region, the grapes are night harvested when fully ripe to preserve their freshness.
This is a refined and elegant wine with a generosity of flavour. Notes of banana leaf, yellow plum and peach give this wine a luscious and rich texture. It’s best enjoyed just slightly chilled, maybe 40 minutes in the fridge, on it’s own or with quite a wide variety of dishes. Pair with fragrant chicken,  Confit Duck with dried fruits or lightly spiced dishes.
