From the Paal region, this superb Grenache Blanc delivers excellent value for money.

Produced from Bush vines at around 15 years old, the wine is made from free run juice with 2 hours of skin contact. The wine is then fermented in two ways, 70% being done in stainless steel and aged on lees for 3 months. The remaining 30% is fermented in 500 litre French oak barrels and left on lees for 6 months. This lees ageing gives the wine texture, a creamy quality which feels smooth and rich in the mouth.

The nose is bright and fruity, with notes of tropical fruit, gooseberry and hints of citrus. The palate is rich, smooth and mouthwatering, with peach, pineapple and subtle nutty notes. The richness is perfectly balanced with a crisp acidity, leading to a clean, long and enjoyable finish.

Pair with creamy pasta dishes, white meats and Plane Trees Farm soft goats cheese.
