From the south facing slopes around Pattingham in Staffordshire, this wine is from 100% Pinot Noir Précoce, an early ripening variety of Pinot Noir.
Pale ruby in colour, the nose is red cherry, strawberry and a floral note of orchard blossom with a hint of smoke. The palate is elegant and balanced with red and dark fruits being complimented by a fresh acidity and soft tannins.  The finish is clean and long, with touches of oak and a very gentle smokey spice.
 
Pair with lamb  or lighter game dishes.
