100% of the fruit for this Chardonnay came from McManis’ very own River Junction AVA, located at the confluence of the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Rivers. The vineyards here sit below the waterline most of the year, resulting in temperatures 2-5 degrees cooler than the surrounding area, perfect for growing quality Chardonnay.
 
Light golden straw in colour the nose has bright fruit aromas of pear, melon, and peach. On the palate there are notes of stone-fruit, banana, vanilla, and a hint of buttered toast. The mouth feel is rich and decadent, with a pleasing acidity to refresh the palate.
 
Pair with white meats or paella.
