Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois make up this superb alternative to Champagne. Pale gold in colour, with fine bubbles, the wine has an elegant nose of apple and pear, with a hint of brioche and toast.
On the palate the 18 months of bottle ageing is reflected in the perfect balance of fruit, acidity and richness, green apple and pear giving way to notes of brioche and roasted hazelnut before finishing fresh and clean. Absolutely moreish, this is a crowd pleaser either on its own as an aperitif or with smoked salmon and seafood.

Purchased to celebrate Silver Anniversary.... such a great choice and much better than the average champagne for a fraction of the price
