From vineyards in the foothills of the Andes mountains in Mendoza, this 100% Malbec has been rated at 91 points by James Suckling.
Hand picked grapes are macerated for 48 hours before a 14 day fermentation. The wine undergoes a natural malolactic fermentation before 15% is aged in used French and American oak for 8 months.
This results in a wine deep purple in colour, with violet hints. The nose is fruity, with Plum and raspberry, lightened with floral and violet tones.
The palate is rich, complex and full, dark fruits, fig and rasins lead to a long and juicy finish with well balanced tannins.
Pair with grilled, smoked or roasted meats and creamy mushroom dishes.
