Made using late harvested Negroamaro grapes which have dried on the vine until the middle of September, the wine is then aged in oak barrels for some months.
This gives the wine an intense, sophisticated aroma of ripe red cherry, redcurrant and raspberry, with spices and subtle notes of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a velvety texture, balanced with soft tannins and well-rounded acidity.
Pairs with grilled meats, aged cheeses, and game.

We drank this last weekend .. just a bit late popping a review on .. so its not technical, but what an awesome wine this was. It was IMMENSE, everyone that tried it was as equally impressed, amazing flavour profile and smoothness .. my new favourite wine. I would wholly recommend this for any red wine lovers.
