This award winning rosé is from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, Syrah and Malbec. The wine is made using indigenous yeasts by the "saignee" method, where a small portion of the juice is removed from the fermentaion tank to increase skin contact and concentrate flavours. This is further enhanced with Lees ageing.
Light and clear, coral pink in colour there is an intense nose of raspberry, cranberry, poppy and violet. On the palate, bergamot, raspberry and white peach flavours give a harmonious and fresh, dry, rounded flavour. This is a wine with good balance, complexity and a long pleasing finish.
Enjoy as an aperitif with tapas, grilled marinated pork and mozzarella tomato salads.
