A superb barrel fermented, old vine Franschhoek Semillon blended with a Sauvignon Blanc from high altitude vineyards in Stellenbosch. What a find!
The nose is complex, with aromas of lemongrass, grapefruit and lemon and a herby fennel note.
On the palate the grape varieties are distinctive, the bright acidity of the Sauvignon Blanc balancing the honeyed, lemon richness of the Semillon beautifully.
Pair with roast chicken or lightly spiced seafood.
