This 100% tempranillo from the Ribera del Duero region is cherry red with claret hues. Aged in French and American oak for 18 months, the nose its is warming and complex, with notes of cherry, red and black fruits, coffee, star anise, balsamic notes and perhaps even a hint of coconut.
On the palate it is full, rich and satisfying, the tannins are chocolatey smooth, with a rich, dark warming savory spice, perfectly balancing the dark rich fruits and ever so slightly bitter coffe minerality. A superbly elegant drink with a long and complex finish
