This Albarino from Bodegas Eidosela in Riax Baixas is limited to a production of 10,000 Bottles, creating a wine which is actively sought after.
The vineyards are based in the slightly warmer sub reigon of Condado do Tea, along the banks of the Miño River, where the Atlantic influence creates a unique microclimate. This aids slow ripening , which maintains maximum aromatics, leading to this very crisp , fresh style of Alabarino.
Fermented in stainless steel and aged for 3 months on lees, this pale straw coloured wine has a nose of ripe citrus, stone fruit and a hint of grapefruit, all following through to the palate. The acidity is well balanced and there is a notable mineral and saline finish.
Pairs perfectly with seafood such as sea bass, but also with lightly spiced asian dishes.
ABV 12.5%
